“Knock” yourself out with Music
Hiyah Dragon-boaters!
A recent accident in the waters of Kallang aroused a flustered boat of muscled men who were paddling themselves crazy from the Marina Barrage. Now, not even a naked Megan Fox can put out their flame. 
It was a collision that happened just around the bend, somewhere a few meters after the famous Benjamin Sheares Bridge. Before we start, the usual disclaimer bearing no harm on the $177 million expressway structure. Not even a crack.
What happened next was simply us crashing head-on with a kayaker. So without us Splashhing you on the details, you would know who met with the more bitter fate- the kayaker. And his ipod.
When you plug your earphones snugly in your sockets, and turn up the volume to Lady Gaga lamenting about her Bad Romance while paddling in your cute little kayak, you might want to consider that not even 10 screaming men can save you from a collision. Not even sweet Moses, who is probably unwilling to part the Kallang Basin to save your tiny ass.
So what can we learn from this episode, my dragon boaters? Crank your steering oar, get your paddlers to jam it in hard, save the kayaker, kill his ipod.
So what happens now?
We are caught in a bad romance with a fellow kayaker.

Our men secured 2nd in the National Championship Men (Plate) Category, and the ladies wowed us with their advancement in to the semi-finals for the National Championship Women Category! Ooooo…it looks like our competitors have to belt up really tight when we return stronger than ever next year. Rumors has it that the ladies are aiming to fill a 20-men boat? Extremely exciting, Woo-sa!

After the euphoria generated from the previous weekend, it’s time to plan a get-together to celebrate the year’s worth of memories and to kickstart yet another great dragon boating season.

Venue: Aloha Changi, Halton Bungalow C

You are welcome to stay overnight, scare the shit out of each other with ghost stories or practice your pre-IR gambling skills.
These semi-detached double-storey chalets are fully furnished with
- a living room set with TV and games table;
- dining room;
- air-conditioned bedrooms, furnished with beds, wardrobes, dressers, bedside tables and wall fans;
- toilets/bathrooms with shower heater; BBQ pit and a fully equipped kitchen.(All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor) 3 bedrooms, 1 queen bed, 4 single beds, 2 common toilets, 2 common bathrooms.
