Gym Session at NUS

Whose towels are these?

Last evening, Youth team Coach Sean met the youths up for a proper gym session. The objective was to review their techniques, and reveal their future training program. Edmund Teo, our team manager and Caron went down to assist as well.

They started with a 5km running route that entailed to Dover road and back to the National University of Singapore.

On the overall, the youths learnt how to use the various gym tools such as the Swiss and Medicine balls to strengthen their core group muscles. After the gyming session, they adjourned to the famous sandwich bar, Subway, for dinner. Health freaks, huh? :D

I’ve taken 133 photos and 3 videos altogether. Will upload the videos soon, but you can view the pictures here.

Have a good weekend everybody, and if you’re feeling free, do visit the MR500 race starting tomorrow because one, Sean is the race director, and two, a few Kiyah-Splashhies are participating with other groups to race as well. The venue is at Lower Seletar Reservoir (opposite Yishun Stadium) and it starts at 10am. See you there!
